He is an avid amateur golfer who participates in many of the top tournaments around the state, including the South Carolina Amateur and Mid-Amateur, the Carolina's Golf Association Amateur and Mid-Amateur, and local Hilton Head tournaments; including three invitations to Hilton Head Island's Honors Cup.

Up Close and Personal, Meet The Family

Mike and Yvonne --  We are blessed to have two wonderful children and their spouses and three most precious grandchildren.

Mike was born in Philadelphia, lived in Rhode Island for a short while, moved with his family to Alexandria, Virginia in 1961. He was graduated from The University of Richmond , then moved back to the Washington, DC area; in early 1992 he moved to Hilton Head Island.

Yvonne was born in Oregon, lived Texas, then moved to a family farm/ranch in South Dakota at the age of six. Next stop was the Washington, DC area in 1970;  then Hilton Head Island in 1992.

On a golfing trip in December 1990, we discovered our tropical paradise with pristine beaches, lush fairways and brilliant sunrises and sunsets. Our ultimate choice to move to Hilton Head Island was early 1993. Life as an islander is the one we know and love and it truly is the ultimate lifestyle!

The Dog ~ Marley! English Otter Hound? Giant Schnauzer & Lab? Bouvia des Flandres & Lab?Who knows Marley arrived at our house during our daughter's junior year of college for a visit, then another visit, then she just stayed. Marley is sweet, adorable, funny and smart. Actually she is the best "Pound-Puppy!"
