Bradley, Burkes and Singleton Beaches
Once an after-thought to gated community living, this area of beach at mid-island has become a place of elegance and much deserved attention. Nearly everything here has been built since 1997, and much of it borrows from the charm of extravagant southern urban living. Five distinct neighborhoods that feature town-house-style architecture make up the Bradley, Burkes and Singleton Beach areas. These communities are adjacent to Hilton Head Island's Chaplain Community Park (soccer and baseball fields, public tennis courts, and a dog park), Driessen Beach Park, and The Folly - a pristine tidal wetlands bordering the Atlantic Ocean that's great for crabbing and nature watching.
