Chechessee Creek ClubThe Club House
![]() ![]() RENOWNED ARCHITECTS Thomas and Denzinger have artfully contributed their well-respected talents to the ambiance of Chechessee Creek Club. The clubhouse design accomplishes the very difficult task of maintaining a casual atmosphere with sophistication and understated flair. Heart pine flooring and exposed rafters are tastefully offset by oriental rugs and antique furnishings. Both men's and ladies' locker rooms are adorned with natural wood and original art. The men's lounge is comfortably decorated and is a great place to gather for cards, darts, or to watch your favorite team. The dining is superb—a robustly delicate fare attentively prepared by Chef Shawn Ross. Formal dining is available by reservation only on most Wednesdays and Saturdays, but if you're staying in one of the cottages during a golf weekend, Chef Shawn and his staff are eager to cater to your palate's desire. The staff's warmth and attention to detail are sincere and genuine. When the club hosted the Carolina's Amateur in 2003, champion Emmett Turner wrote, "I have played in top-notch amateur events around the country, and I have never seen a golf club staff care so much about the tournament and its' participants." | |||
