The oldest of the off island private golf communities, there's plenty of history and well-deserved respect for Moss Creek. The North Course is an island classic and one of George Fazio's self-proclaimed favorite works. While it appears short by today's standards, every tee shot demands a well-shaped shot. Most of the fairways profile sharp doglegs that are tree-lined and very tight. The largest green on the golf course would seem small by today's standards. The par-5 11th is a classic risk/reward short 486 yards to a tiny three-tiered green fronted by a creek. This course is true shot-maker's delight.

An early (1976) Tom Fazio design, the South Course is a great compliment to Uncle George's North Course gem. Aptly named Devil's Elbow after the land that it's built on, the LPGA held The Lady's Masters and The Lady's International on this demanding track in the late 1970's and early 80's. It was a favorite of golf greats like Kathy Whitworth, Sandra Palmer, Jan Stephenson, Nancy Lopez, Hollis Stacey, and Sally Little. There are many memorable holes on the course, but the final four holes are the most scenic, bordered by marsh and wetlands.
