Greg Norman's foray into the Low Country market has brought a distinct style unlike any other in the area. The course opened for play in 2002 and has already hosted several high-profile amateur events. Oldfield winds through every imaginable terrain - ranging from tree-lined fairways to rolling abandoned rice fields and then along the wetlands and banks of the Okatie River. The course definitely has a Scottish feel to it, right down to sod bunkering on several holes. The course is perfect for all skill levels, ranging from a friendly 6,193 yards to a very demanding 7,134 yards.
Directions
Oldfield is located on S.C. Highway 170 between Beaufort and Hilton Head Island. From I-95 North or South, take exit 8 onto S.C. Highway 278. Follow it for nine miles to S.C. Highway 170. Follow Highway 170 west for four miles to the Oldfield gate on the right.
