Port Royal Plantation

This is the only ocean-front neighborhood on the entire island where you won't find vacationers in your midst because short-term rentals are excluded by community restrictions. At the north end of the island, the Port Royal Sound and Atlantic Ocean wrap around the northern and eastern borders of the plantation, affording innumerable opportunities to own a beach-front home with unobstructed water views. In addition to the golf and tennis amenities, Port Royal Plantation is home to miles of biking and walking trails, plus the ruins of Fort Walker - a Civil War era fort.
