Every year, PGA pros take to the fairway of famed Harbour Town Golf Links to vie for the champion's tartan jacket at the Verizon Heritage. Ranked as the #1 course in South Carolina by Golf Magazine, this is the most sought after course to play on Hilton Head Island. Designed by Pete Dye in consultation with Jack Nicklaus, Harbour Town Golf Links is reminiscent of Scottish course of olde. Measuring 6,973 yards from the Heritage tees with a slope of 146, the par-71 course is deceptively short by today's standards and requires perfectly positioned shots, arrow-straight accuracy and unwavering consistency on the part of the player.

A great members course, always well maintained with lots of shot making required. The greens on this course are small, so precise iron play is a must. Don't be fooled by the length of this course because it's a joy to play. Some memberships give access to the rest of Sea Pines golf courses, including the famed Harbour Town Golf Links and the newly renovated Sea Marsh Course.
